Default closed loop turbo ecu wasted spark help please

hello i bought myself a sierra cosworth 4wd
and the previous owner tells me its got a closed loop system from MSD and i think also the wasted spark
can some one tell me which parts are included and what has been done/changed to fit this system
and also is it normal to do the lambda in the exhaust housing of the turbo (see pic)
and can this turbo still be used for a 2wd know
lots of questions and i hope someone can help
thanks

Your lambda looks right.

W/S wise.

You have now got 2 ignition amplifiers, 2 cyl's each. A coil pack instesd of a old coil.
The W/S driver inside the Ecu. The adaptor loom for the amps, 2 wires to Ecu and coil. No need for the distributor for the spark plug leads, but still feeds IIRC to the phase sensor, and coil pack type leads.
All in all a dam good piece of kit.

Is the turbo for the engine in the pics?. Looking at it (from the pics weird angle), it looks like a 4x4 manifold fitment, but I might be wrong.

You just need to rotate the housing for it to fit a 2wd manifold.

You have wasted spark fitted - that's why nothing is connected to your distributor and you have a coilpack mounted to the inner wing

The lambda sensor is fitted in the exhuast housing by Ford.

if you fit the 2wd exhaust manifold with your 4x4 turbo exhaust housing you will need to weld adaptor for the sensor to the down pipe, because chance the exhaust housing place!!

use a lot WD40 let it about 5 minutes and then with a hard caoutchouc hammer knock the housing,if it does not unstick, heat the housing around, and knock it again!!
