Finally got the broken banjo bolt out of the turbo but water will not flow through from one side to the other. Firstly I am not fooling myself am I - I take it it should pass through from one banjo to the other. Secondly will I be able to see anything more if I take off the compressor snail. I suspect not as there has to be bearings or something in the way. Any one have a cutaway drawing of this mid section if the turbo. Obviously both water and oil pass through here - water from side to side and oil from top to bottom. Any ideas welcome. Thanks David

Check the pipe isn't blocked where it comes off your thermostat housing. I thought my water pump had packed up but it was just a blocked pipe as it runs through there before returning to header tank

Thanks for the reply but there are no pipes on anywhere at the moment. just trying to push water in on one side of the turbo (not even any banjo bolts in there) and expecting it to come out the other side. Thanks again David
