i thought that if you jetted the anal valve the boost is not gonna tail off thus running lean at top end right or wrong?

Jetting the amal is done for different reasons, one reason is to allow more boost to be bleed off!

It is irrelevant in your case by the fact yours is the same with the valve disconnected/connected!

You need to be looking at the vacuum hoses, if one of these are split/disconnected the actuator won't do it's job, as this what physically controls the boost!

update! found a boost leak in dump valve so has been changed but still over boosting i think and holding back around 4k and boost gauge is going all the way to 30psi in 5th im now stuck on what it could be what can make a car just suddenly start over boosting after a boost leak in dump valve also noticed it smelt of fuel really bad when doing around 90mph also before boost leak it used to run 20psi with no problems at all

What part of 'Take it to someone who has a clue what he is doing' dont you understand. This engine will melt with you mucking about as you are.
A specialist will sort this in minutes & save a re-build.

There could have been a small leak before and a previous owner has tweaked the boost to compensate. Now that you have eliminated the leak you are getting too much boost.

As others have said PLEASE PLEASE take it somewhere and have it set up properly before you are looking for a replacement engine.

i understand what you are saying but the boost used to adjust from actuator before this problem now it doesn't matter were you set the actuator it boost the same could the map sensor do this? i think its something simple but its finding it

Boost all over the place over 20 psi? Smells of fuel? Hmmm It could be a faulty MAP sensor or a split signal pipe to the sensor.

I'm concerned that this setup (that used to run on a T3 turbo) is now getting up to 30 psi of boost, I would have expected a boost cut or a hole in a piston way before then. My chip cuts at 26psi.

I'm up north so I'd be across to Motorsport Developments, not sure who's closest to you. What about MA Developments?

Look at it this way unless Amhed Bayjoo handed the chip to your personally then you have no idea of its origins. It's not a cop out having it setup by a tuner - my Cossie has never been to a garage in the last 17 years - it has however been set up by Stu at MSD.
I do not have the equipment to test if it's running lean at full boost, Stu does and was able to advise me that it was running lean cos of the old fuel pump wiring. A nice cheap fix
