Looking at just his negative feedbacks, a lot are for short shifters.
I'm amazed if the can they can make a decent product for the money ?

Ive got a B&M shifter in mine that I bought cheap from the states. I had to heat up the shaft on that one and bend it over to suit our right hand drive cars. But tbh I'm thinking of switching back to the stock shifter some time this year as the T5 box doesnt seem too keen on being forced to shift gears any quicker than it was originaly intended

The T5 isn't the quickest shifting box around, not the cossie version anyway, the chevy T5 is a lot better, it's easy to beat the synchro on the T5 as it is.
The only mod I did to my lever was to reposition it further forward by about 1 1/2", as I sit really forward due to short legs!!

Thanks for all the replys. Certainly food for thought.
Next question.
Which Close Ratio - Straight Cut, Syncro / Dog gear kit is recommended for the T5. I'm building a rally car so obviously not concerned about noise / harshness etc.
Quaife / Glebe etc ???
Many thanks

If spending the sort of money you are going to need to, I wouldn't be wasting my time with a T5, try a T56 or similar, the original cossie T5 was only rated to 180bhp!!

then that shows how good they really are as there are plenty of 500 bhp cars using the standard t5 with no problems
