Default T5 Rebuild

My 2wd gearbox is whining. I have been getting estimates for a bearing / seal rebuild and G.E.A.R.S has been the cheapest so far, but was wondering if anyone has used them before??

Not used myself, but since they've been there in business since 78, that should and usually is a good sign, ask around local car dealers etc who they use.

Thanks. Ive found a guy local to me who was recommended by one of the local RSOC reps. Just spoke to him this morning and he said it will be around £200 for a bearing rebuild. Taking the box out on thursday and dropping it off Friday. This cossie is like a second mortgage...... happy days.

Racked up nearly 250 miles so far Its epic. Im loving the MSD setup. Havent opened it up much yet as its still running in, but its a smooth delivery, and well happy.... apart from the box.
