Is it a 4x4? and does he have or wish to fit big stoppers in the future? most people go for the old compomotive mo's with around et37 so you can fit big brakes 2wd saphs are a bit different to 4x4 as in 4x4's are a night mare to fit big brakes and get the clearance on the calipers

I don't think you can beat a set of 17 or 18" comps on a sapph, its down to personal preference at the end of the day though. Mine are 7.5x17 comp 5 spokes, et37

8x17 et35.
Fill the arches adequately and a decent width.

There are so many wheel designs out there, something motorsporty, MO's are good..but it's nice to use your own imagination......

If he's not going big brakes and using it as a daily driver, leave standard rims on it................they drive so much nicer

IMAGINATION, exactly right imo, comps have been done to death, I'm going gloss lack Wolfrace katana, once I know 100% they will fit the brakes(38mm 6 pots), wolfrace are the most unhelpful people ever I've found, not even prepared to measure inside wheel for me, after care must be awsome!!
