I know this is an age old topic of discussion but i need to fit a new clutch to my cossie whilst the engine is out. Ive searched through all the old threads but there seems to be so many conflicting opinions as to what is the best combination to go with.
Im going to be running around 330bhp but would like to fit something thats comfortable at that power just in case i want to up it slightly in the future.
I was thinking of going for an AP/Alcon 6 paddle clutch with a standard pressure plate but then some people say to just go with an organic one as their nicer to drive, others saying that i have to have a heavy duty presuure plate with a 6 paddle.
I try to fit the right stuff first time round whenever im fitting parts to the car as its normally cheaper in the long run, but im not keen on spending out on a heavy duty plate if its not needed.
So will a 6 paddle with a standard pressure plate be up to the job?
Im thinking if it does start to slip after a while i can just uprate the pressure plate straight away?

Thanks for replys, ill go with the 6 paddle friction plate and standard pressure plate (mainly because i dont want to spend out on a pressure plate if its not needed) if it starts to slip then i will have to do something about it at the time.
