cosworth 2wd wiring loom problem

Question cosworth 2wd wiring loom problem

hello everybody,i would like to ask you about my original 2wd cosworth wiring loom,so does anyone know about these wires with red mark what run? any help really appreciated!!

Looks like the main loom connector.

Fuel pump
oil pressure ( for dash )
Coolant temp ( for dash )
rev counter
permenant live for the relays
switched ignition live

Thats off the top of my head so may be wrong

Oil pressure is only on 4x4 engine loom


2WD wiring is:

green - from coil negative to rev counter
red - from permanent +12V to both relays (pin 30)
black - from switched +12V to both relays (pin 86)
black/red - from fuel pump relay (pin 87) to fuel pump
brown/white - from temp sender to temp gauge


Tried to find picture of standard Ford connector but haven't got one sorry.

what is the connecting of these wires? in the rest loom or on the ecu? thank you veru much

What he ^^ says, oil pressure is part of the car loom, the rest is as he says above.

Nearly right, there should also be a brown/red which is air con, even if not fitted, and the permanent live is red/blue.

Connects into the main car loom on the bulkhead above/behind the glovebox
