how to tell the differecne between a 4wd and 2wd cosworth head

 

2wd head will have a turbo damper mount on the side.

as said damper mount, also the temp sensor is where the coolant sensor is on a 4x4 not at the front near the stat housing area like on 2wd heads!! Plus the front cam caps are different as the cams bearing holders/seals are differentm4x4 have a grove in

 

And exhaust ports are different : more alloy on 4x4 head.
