Default Clutch self adjuster problems

I have Sierra Cossie 2wd with Group N Racing clutch from GGR, and it is not the soft type of clutch. I am lately having troubles shifting gears, and I am told the plastic self adjuster could be the problem.
Can you pls give me some good advice on this? What to replace the plastic one with etc. I did find one at R&B but the price was 113 pound!
At GGR they had one Group N for 15 pounds.
I also find the pedal bracket is a bit soft, and would like to make it more rigid, any comment on that? Is this just common problem in Sierra with racing clutch?
Thanks.
