You'd be best taking the whole car to a painters matey. I just had my rear bumper redone and its spot on. Just having a code doesn't always mean the new paint will match the old

Cars off the road Paul, but I know best option is to have the whole car there, just can't do that at the moment

there'll be a few shade's of it mate. best to take the old boot lid or spoiler if you can. best with the boot lid tho as plastic's can differ slightly even when useing the same shade.

Cant you borrow the shades cards Jimmy? To the best of my knowledge there were 3 original shades of Magenta - but now that water based paints are the norm there must be many more variations - even the way the metallic fleck falls can change the appearance.
The plate won't give you the shade I'm afraid - Ford were not that organised mate.
