Default Gauge advice for me cossie

Hi all, I fancied some gauges for the 3dr so I just bought a gauge holder that holds 3 gauges and replaces the centre vent.

Anyone know what are the best gauges to use 'make'? Also I defo want a boost gauge but what other gauges are usefull on a cossie running stage 3.

Cheers

Boost, oil pressure, AFR are the 3 I'd most want, but also SECS monitor, oil temperature and EGT

Oil temp is a must, then pressure, personally I don't bother with afr, and it only has a boost gauge as it had it to start with, I just think am I going to spend my time looking at the gauges or the road, so didn't want any unecessary disctraction.

why do u say oil temp is a must???
oil pressure for saw but oil temp is just going alittle ott, its going to get hotter the more you cane it thats for sure so why have an other gauge to worry about?

i have oil pressure and boost gauge. i hardly have chance to look at them how are you people driving your cars with all these gauges??
as long as the car is set up propely u shouldnt have to worry about any of it lol..

Oil Pressure before Temp in importance stakes.

If the oil breaks down due to temp you will see it in the pressure drop.

However, if you have an oil leak or blockage in your engine and loose pressure the Temp will tell you nothing, also if you were to get oil surge in cornering and loose pressure, temp will tell you nothing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Byebye engine.

I had a boost guage in the middle and Tab is spot on that unless i crashed I'd never be able to monitor it closely. I have oil temp and water temp with a new oil temp to fit. The boost guage is now under my nose on the steering column where I can glance at it.

I've got a SECS monitor, oil pressure, oil temp and boost. However, I would say the most important are prob oil pressure, AFR and fuel pressure.

Cheers guys.

I think I will get a boost, dual oil pressure and temp, and probably an AFR gauges.

I am looking at the racetech gauges as they do a nice range but they look a bit tacky.
I saw in this months I think FF that Garrett has brought out a new boost gauge.

Cheers
