Hi all, Just a quick question.

Does anyone know what boss I will need to fit a RS 3 spoke steering wheel on a 3dr sierra cosworth?

I have the 3 spoke RS steering wheel but I have the wrong boss, I was told by grove garage that the boss I have only fits on the sapphires.

I looked on ebay but I can not find anything.

Steering wheel is similar to the one below.

When you say "it's similar" ...do you mean the same as the one pictured? That centre push doesn't look quite right to me???

Here's one off ebay and it looks a bit different



Yours looks a bit like one for an earlier RS or Ford, the spokes aren't covered...

 

Hi, Sorry I should of made my self clearer. The steering wheel I have is exactly the same as the picture I posted. Many people have this fitted on there 3dr but I just dont know what or were to get the correct boss.

Ray, just out of interest there is a guy on Ebay selling one for a 3-door Cosworth the same as yours. He's got a mobile number on the ad so it might be worth ringing him to see if he's selling a boss ( or is including one in the sale of the wheel ) if you particularly want that style of wheel you pictured. Alternatively the sort I pictured fit straight on I'm sure

 

Mike, I have already contacted the guy on ebay earlier on today asking exactly the same thing just waiting for a reply. The steering wheel picture you posted is exactly what I have on the car now

you could try putting a wanted add on here, but how much would you sell the sapphire boss for?

 

you need boss number 9057 618 mate!

9057 618 fits all sierra's mate, whats the number on yours?

 

Steering wheel is at work so will check on Monday.

The steering wheel and boss that I have came of a sapph cossie but I need one with a slight notch on the mounting part of the boss to fit the 3dr which the boss I have has not got.

just cut a notch in the boss you've got
