hiya peps. im getin there with my cosworth after a few problems.
it runs fine now until it gets warm.

itl drive n boost fine in every gear except 3rd.
in slopy 3rd if i give it alot of gas there like a boost resistance, it'l spluter, then back fire.
but then when i change to 4th gear it'l boost again

any ideas peps ?

Have you rewired the fuel pump?

no m8 the fuel pump isnt ban new but it ent the original 1.

 

Hmm... weak spark maybe.

 

I was gonna say check your spark plugs and gap but i think if it was them it qould be doing it in every gear.

 

It dosen't matter if it's new or not it still needs rewiring as does the fan loom also worth changing fuel filter.
