Hello!

I have OMP bucket seat with side mounts and brackets already installed.

What subframe can you advise to fix this seat to original fixing points at sierra's flor?

Thanks.
Dmitry.

I fitted mine to the floor but had to modify the tunnel rails on both sides and welded in a new rail for the back of the seat to sit on.

Take an original Ford Sierra seat base and chop it up as follows:

Turn it upside down and drill out the eight dimples underneath each sliding rail

Then you should be able to remove the sliding rails:

Then you can put the seat mount and the sliding rails together and fix them:

My pics don't have the fixings done but drill and bolt the rail to the seat mount. This will give you a race seat mount that bolts to the original floor mounts.

Turn one of your seat mounts round, or both of them round.

That is narrower. Does it fit the rails?

Remember to take the cat off the seat before you use it

I fir some side mount sparcos and not matter what way I put the mounts the standard sierra rails were too narrow. Yes, I fit very wide seats for my cyclist legs..

I ended up welding some 2 inch plate along the rails in the same spot and the seat fixing points and drilled to suit. It was a bit fussy as I wanted to keep the seat as low as possible. I lost about an inch of forward movement and that's fine. My seat now hits the front of the tunnel, no problem.

Get the driving position perfect or you will hate the seats.
