Default My brakes are doing my head in Help please.

I have this strange problem with my 2wd cosworth.
When you start the car the Abs light goes out as normal but the pedal goes rock hard when pressed then seconds later the Abs light comes back on and the pedal is fine.
Please any one with any ideas please help.

Sorry my brakes work fine, but the abs light comes on 10 seconds after setting off on a journey. The light does go out but then comes back on again, does that sound like the pressure switch on abs unit?

The tri purpose hand brake, fluid low, and also tells you when the system is low on pressure where ABS is fitted.

This could show up a faulty relay as i have removed the 4 pin purple relay and the abs light comes on as well ,[ 4 pin purple / 5 pin purple / 4 or 5 pin green will have to remove this one to check- under dash passanger footwell] abs and low pressure warning light come on after 4/5 hard presses on the break pedal as this relay has been removed . I am awaiting a new abs loom from Carlooms mine is not any use since we pluged in a snap on fault code reader and fried it
