Anyone know where you can get a new 5th gear for the main shaft for the T5 3dr cosworth gearbox.

Think a Mate of mine had a Gearbox made entirely out of cheese..........although I may of just dreamt that !!!!!!

 

Elite Racing Transmissions, Burtonpower, Ford, CTS don't sell the 5th gear any more.
ERT will make a one off for around the 200 quid mark if i'm stuck.
I'm sure someone must still make them as the T5 is in loads of cars.
ERT told me MK2 E-type XK12 have the same 5th gear, any one know any other cars that use the same box, like TVR etc.

Scott the box is completly stripped,so here's hoping that 5th gear is still there,

Just to let everyone know, Elite Racing Transmissions are still getting new T5 gearboxes made from the States and are the same gear ratio as our cossies.
So new 5th gears should be available in the states if anyone is really stuck.
