Default Green injectors

What is the most bhp green injectors can produce? As far as im aware im running 383bhp on stage 3 with 803 green injectors and a hybrid t34.48, I'v not had any of the work done myself but have 4 RR print outs of the car being mapped to me it sounds it little bit optimistic but i may be wrong?

Also how much lag should there be on a hybrid t34.48 as mine seems to be quite high?

Thanks rob

Not on Green injectors for 383HP, over about 350HP you are looking at 403 (Greys) or Siemens 83LB (Blacks).

Injectors don't produce power they just fuel for the amount of boost produced.

Dont take to much notice of previous owners RR, they probably had sold bits of the car before they sold it if mines anything to go by. For example I have a receipt for a 500 cooler but strangly have a standard one

I think your car is stage 3 power from what I hear so around 330HP + as a guide and would say runs around 24 PSI boost

TBH T34.48 are very good turbos, I have one on mine should be on boost around 3000 RPM, are you on standard compression?

I have recipes for a new 200 block, mahle pistons, grp A head gasket and a full topend rebuild but at the end of the day i didn't fit it so i cant be 100% sure.
Evey thing looks genuin as the turbo looks brand new and still has a grp A coil and fuel pump fitted along with 500 intercooler and alloy rad, Just seems a little strange to only have green injectors

Greens usually top out at around 350bhp, as said injectors don't produce power they just supply the fuel at a certain flow rate, their maximum flow rate is the maximum flow rate and they won't give you anymore than that,

a bit like a garden hose that has its tap turned onto maximum, once the tap has reached the end of the thread the water won't flow out anymore faster

T34.48 is what I had on my car previously, out of the 3 housings that are used .48 .55 and .63 it should be the one with the least amount of lag and should spool up quickly, mine did and acceleration was very good, they do run out of puff a little on the top end though,

only way to be sure that the car is running as it should be is for someone to map it for you, then you can have a run out on the rollers and see what kahooners you have

Why does it seem strange? Thats a perfectly standard spec. The car is 4x4 as well from what Ive just read.

mine has .48 stamped on the housing but id dont sound like a .48 as it dont boost untill about 4300k and will pull all the way to redline with no problems, Is there any way of telling what housing is on it?

If it has .48 stamped on the housing then its a .48 housing dont boost till 4300 rpm, that don't sound right to me

No it's not, What compression is your engine? As said normally if you look closely it has the size of housing stamped on it.

Are ther any other things that could cause lag? iv gotta rewire the fuel pump this weekend so i might take the turbo off and check the waste gate for cracks

In that case you have a 200 block in 2WD car, no as I have said u haven't got 380HP, yours will be around 330HP +.

as for compression i have no idea the person i brough the car from never done the work to it, it was the owner before him so all i have to go by is a folder full of receipts

A shit chip and lying dyno can cause these problems.
I have personally seen a set of 803's, dark greens do 377bhp, repeatedly all day long, on std cossie pressure.
If you up the pressure they will allow more bhp as they will inject more fuel, a new set or a just cleaned set will flow less, I had a set just cleaned that were at 80% duty at 302bhp, so stuck greys in, this was at std rail pressure.
With not hitting boost properly till 4300, it sounds more like a .63 exhaust housing, if the pipe diameter that goes from air box to turbo inlet is the same size at both ends then it is a .48, if not it isn't a .48.
My advice would be to distrust anything you have got about the car, and book it in for a full set up, much cheaper than a melted engine, I would never put a car on greens without a rewire of std pump as a minimum.
