Fuses
Hi,
Can anyone tell me which fuse in the fuse box is the one for the rad cooling fans?
Fans aren't working, checked the fans work with a direct feed, checked the switch by bridging across it and i beleave the relay is working fine!
So i think it's either the fuse or the wiring, hopefully just the fuse but i have no idea which one it is
Any help greatly appreciated!!

Iirc its a red 30amp one that has probly melted into the fuse holder
Mine done the same but not too bad so I was able to wire a relay into the circuit and take the load away from that part of the fuseboard

Basically the fan loom was sub standard to start with and the fans have a habit of staying on for much longer than they need to the standard fan switch actually has a 10 degree span and with the fans being a "Juicy" component this is why the fuses/relays melt.
The fuse is a green 30A one, can't remember number off hand but it's right at the front of the fuse box where the clip is to undo it as is the relay.
You can either DIY the fan loom with some heavy gauge wire a SPDT relay or you can buy then off ebay ready made. The fuel pump loom suffers from similar problem with old wiring and would also benefit from a re wire.
