Default Just fitted my new fuel pump wiring loom and...

I've got 13.9 volts at the battery and 12.9 volts at the pump, should I really lose 1 volt with a brand new loom feeding straight off the battery?

Ye it's one of Ryan's Looms it's very well made, thats why I can't understand the voltage drop.

It's one of Ryans Looms so the Earth and the Live both go direct from the battery to the pump via a 30amp fused relay (relay activated via old pump live Black and Red Wire)
Not sure of the actual size of wire.

It is a bit higher loss than I would have expected, but if 12.9 at idle, that's fine, will go up slightly on move, and pump is designed for 12.0v, so will be up to max output no problem.
There'll be nothing wrong with loom if it's a ryan loom.

is it worth checking voltage at either side of new relay?
