rear 2wd brakes to 4x4 rear vented

Default rear 2wd brakes to 4x4 rear vented

hi anyone converted there 2wd rear solid discs to 4x4 vented ? just need to know if i need the carrier or the complete caliper off a 4x4 as want to fit vented on the rears insted of the solids any info allways greatfull

you need caliper including carrier

Changed mine last year, dead simple just change the whole lot over as said above.

I've been racing on 2WD rear discs and calipers and the rear pads have been wearing away very quickly because of the heat. Now switched to 4WD set up at the back with vented discs and see less pad wear and presumably cooler rear brakes. I couldn't say that I've noticed much improvement in braking though.

ive got a complete 4x4 rear set up for sale in parts ,inc vented,grooved discs and feredo pads,braided lines,

hi thanks for the advice, knew it was a better idea than running 2wd just wasnt sure of the fitting of them.. so if i got the 4x4 rear calipers and discs they just bolt onto the original holes the 2wd one are bolted to ?
