Question 2wd head thickness

hi anyone know the original head thickness of the 2wd head.. mate just got one from ebay and had thickness of 137.29 im guessing its 1+ mm under than it should be.

new 139.0-139.1mm

137.29mm may cause valve seat retention issues

The seats can be pinned, or just use dry fuel inserts, so not scrap by any means.

139.2mm im sure as i asked the same q a while ago.or maybe thats the minimum recommended thickness after a skim.cant remember for sure.i have seen them on ebay skimmed so far the faces of the valves have been touched by the skimming machine!

138.6 is fords recommended min, many people go down to 138 but anything below that is a major gamble

i've seen 600 bhp heads at high 137's with no probs
