Default Will this work or not??

My standard fuel feed pipe to the rail has a micro split just before the rail.

Is it possible to cut the OE tube lower down and add a piece of braided hose?? would the join be fine or with it being high pressure leak??

Any advice would be great as i'm stumped and i know i won't be able to buy a complete pipe from FMC.

Cheers Lads

Mines don'e like that. I have braided from the metal pipes under the car to the fuel rail. Works fine and has passed loads of MOTs with it that way.
