Default Concourse question - manifold 3DR cosworth

Does anyone know wat colour the manifold was when the 3DR left the factory - i have seen both matt black and anthricite coloured manifolds on concourse cars but not sure what colour its suppose to be ?.

I have a new one here... at least the trousers bit anyway. Its not painted and looks very dark grey with kinda copper sheen in places.

if you mean exhaust then your better off getting some manifold grey made by por 15 its the right colour and will never change colour crack or peal

well am getting it ceramic coated and i need to get as close as colour as possible - think i will go with dark grey

When you have this completed mate could you post some pics as i have debated what is the best way to clean up my manifold also

no problem mate will do , not sure if ceramic coating now as just had a quote of £350 to get it done which is a bit steap.

Whats is different with POR 15 - iv never heard of it and has anyone tried it out and actually does work on exhaust manifolds

hi ben
i have seen the por 15 stuff in the frost catalogue, £350 is a bit steep i must agree. It would be nice to see a pic of the por and some info on how it is lasting is it peeling etc before parting with cash
anybody out there got any pics ?
