heater blower motors.does anyone know if these are the same at all?

 

Yes same, I have a sapph, and dad has a xr4i same motor, unless one is air con, then air con ones are different.

Most of them the bearings fail and the bearing carriers can be rebuilt from your local electricians parts bin.

Just did my aircon motor last week. No air con anymore, but the motor is still going strong. The bearings just seized up.

Reseal any access covers to prevent water ingress and the motor will last a looooong time.

 

Are they similar to mk4 escorts.

From what I remember of my only mk4, same design certainly, wouldn't be surprised if same part either.
