in a 2wd or 4wd saff which would be the best or only option for a oil presure gauge,, mechanical or eletrical? or can u use booth?

You can use both no problem, lecky tend to be more expensive, not sure if they are any better/accurate though.
I just use lecky as it's a bit easier.

not a fan on mechanical, what if you crash you could end up with a face full of boiling oil

My mechanical gauge is down by the radio slot so not too worried about that. Trashed around 4 over the years in various rally car crashes and never had any issues either.

I like to know its a direct feed and not reliant on electrics - just my view. Here's a pic.

iv got a mechanical gauge on my car and im very glad i had it on as my standerd oil presser bulb that every one has in ther car did not come on when my car only had 11 PSI . so the mechanical gauge saved me form having a bigger bill than iv go now . so which ever one you go for they are both better than a fucking bulb that you dont no if its going to work when you need it most

Mechanical is slightly easier to fit, but in my opinion you won't notice too much of a difference performance wise!

Just make sure you buy a good quality gauge and you're flying.

all my gauges are elec (racetech ones). seem v accurate to me.
