Default Transmission vibration

whats the most common cause of a nasty transmission vibration on a 4x4? noticed on the autobahn that i can't get more than 110ish before it trys shaking its self to pieces? anything particulary prone to going out of balance?

wheel balance is fine. prop donut is ok-ish (bit cracked but no parts missing or anything)

is the prop likely to bend at all? all the joints feel fine in it. or is there anyone that can check it for balance?

The front prop is a common problem on 4x4s. The joint at the diff-side get fooked up cos of the heat from the downpipe.
Would be the first I had at look at...

i replaced uj's on my front prop, was getting bit of vibration, only got slightest bit of play on joint, replaced uj's and seemed to cure vibration, got heaps of vibration time before when joint started to break up then siezed!can/will cause alot of damage if joint does break and prop spinning about!
good luck col93saphcos

get this checked asap mate
had an escort to repair last year that the front prop broke up
wrecked the gearbox and burst the sump as well
also knocked huge big dents in the front pipe and chassis leg as well
big mess, worth checking
