Hello does anyone know how must be the compression on 2wd cosworth engine? thanks a lot

Do you mean compression ratio or what you should see when doing a compression test??

Comp ratio 8:1 iirc
Should see about 150 -160 psi I think when doing a comp test, Im sure someone will confirm/correct me.

Is that hot or cold or does it make no difference ?? throttle open ?? Sorry to sound thick but I forget a lot of stuff.

hot mate as for the throttle it does not matter

As said throttle makes no difference, some do a dry test, then a wet test, and this can give you an indication if your rings are worn, ie if wet test goes up noticeably due to forming a better seal you may have problems, if it stays the same and one pot is low you know it's a valve problem.
I alwasy take out all the plugs as they have to come out anyway and leave out whilst doing the test all the plugs, as it's easier on the starter as well.
