sapphire seam welding with coil overs

is it a good idea to seam weld the rear turrets on my sapphire as i have coil overs and dont want them ripping the car apart.if so where can i get a prep manual for where to weld,cheers,lee

Lee the best thing to do is fit a 3 point strut brace to the rear,danny at adrenline can supply,no need to seam weld,never had or sean a problem with rear turrets on a road car

Diy your own strut brace, piece of cake to make if you want to, triangulated to floor centre point between the towers.
I had coilover son my last sierra and did loads of heavy towing for thousands of miles over the years, no strut brace either never had a problem.
