Default 2wd engine on l8 & 4x4 loom

hi guys just after abit of advice from you cossie experts,
i want to run a 2wd engine on a l8 an a 4x4 loom to go with the ecu.......
problem i have come across after examining the wiring diagrams and
sussing the difference bettween the 2wd and 4x4 is that the 4x4 runs a
knock sensor were the 2wd does not.......were do i go from here???
is there a facility on the 2wd engine to fit a knock sensor???? (this would make life alot eaiser if there is) or will the l8 run ok with no knock sensor ???? (somehow i dont think so)
i would much prefer to use a knock sensor for the added safety for the engine.....
so what is you guys opinion ??? ive hit a brick wall an in new zealand there is not alot
of people with the knowlage of cosworths.....please help me

Sorry mate no pic but it goes in the block where there is a bung for another breather or return, ya should be able to see this if your 205 block has it which im pretty sure it does. good luck.
Regards steve

https://passionford.com/forum/ford-sierra-sapphire-rs500-cosworth/263194-block-pics-somebody-help.html Second to last pic, the bolt in bottom of block just behind engine mount pickup is where knock sensor is located mate.
