Default Where is the "problem" ?

Hi,

Regarding this 2wd exhaust manifold, the ebay_seller said :

"This is a must for big BHP Cosworths. Will help Turbos to spool up quicker and more. When I bought it I was told it would give15 - 20 BHP.
Please note to fit this manifold you will require modifications. Due to the fact I have not fitted this manifold I do not know if they are minor or major."

Where is the problem ? I have not confidence.
Thanks for all info.

Regards.

Claude

they are rubbish better of with a std 2wd one

unless your going for 700bhp+ then its a waste of money (hope its not the cheap Ł150 ebay special!!)

for a real deal expect to pay Ł1000+

The cheapo ones don't clear the engine mount mate - I had two that I tried and am back to standard now. Mine wasn't as good as that one from the look of it tho??

imo its a watse of time using any other mani then the oem 2wd cast mani
inless your turbo is going to bigger then a t34 or t4, grpA cars run the 2wd item
im sure, stay well clear of stailess steel manifolds inless as stated a few posts
up they are round the 1000 quid mark which should be good qaulity id hope.......
i had a 400hp+ gts4 skyline an i got my hands on a s/s mani put it on, looked great
untill about 2 weeks later of good thrashings an getting it glowing red hot
it devloped fractures all over it, stainless work hardens when heated, .....s/s mani = shite imo.........
