Thinking about converting my car to 2wd, bits i think i will need are as follows:
sump
gearbox
prop shaft
is there anything i have missed? And would the sale of the parts on my car cover the cost of the 2wd bits?

if you want to do a proper 2wd conversion you'll need the rack, intermidiate shaft, hubs, suspension, tca's, crossmember and arb at the front as well as the rear 2wd setup with the bigger diff and driveshafts
the axle shaft is the drive shaft
the inner race and steel balls and cage are removed
the outer socket is still retained
the stub axle you see is where the bearings go into the hub
nothing else to worry about
