what else is needed? if i fit blacks instead of 803 greens what off the shelf chip would i use in an l6? i also have a t34.63 as a spare turbo in my shed. would the t34.48 already fitted be better for use with the blacks ?

20K+ Super Poster.
col cos 1 care to post up ANY evidence from anywhere that shows this ?
This is just a myth, bosch are still used today and on cars a lot better than the cossie can ever hope to be, without problem.
A injector of any make is ONLY as good as the mapper, I've seen greys in engine making 140bhp, with perfect emissions, they weren't ideal but did the job, I would just put in greys, so you have some reserve, the greens 0280 150 803's that I tried were at 80% duty at 300bhp, just as an example, and there was nothing wrong with these either, as just been cleaned ten minutes earlier.
The only advantage siemens have is they don't need a fitting kit with some colour of bosch, but even when bosch need a fitting kit they work out no dearer.
Why change just because it is newer does not mean better, I see we still use tyres with air in them subject to puctures, and how long we been using this system ?
Some people have had problems with emission on siemens, but again most likely down to mapping, rather than the injector.

Tabetha, not having a go, or trying to be argumentative, but i have seen evidence of the siemens being superior to greys in regards to idle.
Both were 4x4 sapphs on l8's.
Car one, MSD chip, Greys etc etc - Shite idle until the closed loop was plumbed in.
Car two, MSD chip, Siemens etc etc - Perfect idle even without the closed loop connected.
Thats my experience with them, just thought i'd post that up

i have a 2wd on l6,msd chip,mongoose,k@n group a,3 bar map sensor,803 greens, new t34 with a .48,collins actuator,rs500 style cooler, standard ignition system bar all new parts and that made 335.9 atw the wheels at ava,the .48 was a bad housing in design so i changed it for a garret housing.they said the injectors were at their limit at that though.

you would be running very lean at 370bhp at flywheel
i had a t38 running siemens (stick looking things whatever they are) and the car run and idled sweet as a nut!
