A wud say go for a t34 mate tbh think the t4 wud be overkill if all ya after is stage 2, t4's tend to be really laggy and tend to be used on higher spec engines .im running a t34 on a .48 housing and it spools up nice and quick

If you use a T34 .48 with a ar60 compressor 380 very reliably all day long, with next to no lag, preferably with 360 bearing.

What do you mean by a Stage 2? It sounds like you would be ok with a T3 if you're not looking for more than 300bhp.

When I say ar60 I am talking compressor housing, this is std on the 4x4 sierra, 2wd had ar.42.
This would still give low down boost with lots of scope for more power, it won't give a big kick like a .63 turbine housing would, because it doesn't have the lag a .63 does to start with so there is less difference between on boost power and off boost power as it is there to start with.
A new .60 ar compressor housing fitted is around £200, I use turbocentre 01924 404112.
