Default Brake Clearence on 356mm Disc on 17" Wheels

I've got Compomotive 8 x 17" Grp A Fitment ET33 and wanted to know if I could get 6 Pot AP's with 356mm Discs under.
I measured from the centre of the Alloy to the inside egde which gave me a measurement of 205mm I then got a CAD drawing (see below) that give me a measurement from the centre of the disc to the outside edge of the Caliper of 197.66mm So i looks like they will clear by 7.34mm.
But the question is do you thing this enough clearance?
Cheers Rich

the radial clearance seems to be ok, however it depends where the rim/wheel starts to get thicker going towards the spokes. So the axial clearance could be an issue

I've got the old flat 5 spoke MOs ET40 with 356mm discs and AP 7040 6 pots - I had to design the bell to be a few mm deeper than usual, but they fit fine (2wd)

Was that to push the caliper further away from the inside of the spokes?

Yes - I've got sets of ET40, ET35, and ET33 wheels (and some ET25 RL7s), so the 40s were the worst case from a clearance point of view, and were thus what the bells were designed for.

So with mine having and offset of ET33 it should clear ok?

I would think so, if the car is 2wd and you can make the bells deep enough. You'd be best off asking Martin Hadland.
