refurbed rocker covers
#5
i got plasticoat (i think it's called from homebase) for the black colour, in spray bottle form on the main bit of the rocker cover, the blue for the ford bit then obviously red for the rest of the letters hand painted on.
for stripping i used the gooooowy sort of paint stripper, with a wire brush for totally removing the paint.
for cleaning the bare metal after the paint was stripped to remove ecses paint i used sugar soap, got rid of all the grease.
i put about 8 thin layers so it will take time.
i did get paint on the bare metal parts of the rocker cover (oop's) but i sanded it down with my sander and used a very fine sand paper afetrwards to finish it of with a nice shinny surface.
