Default bd10 and timing value (reality/ theorical)

hi

I want to put BD10 (intlet and exhaust)

I know the theorical value for the max opening :
exhaust is 110 and intlet 115

today I do my own value mesuring the cams
it's good for the exhaust, I find 110,25 with is 110 like

but for the intlet, I do 10 times the pratice and I always find 110,5 (theorical is 115)

is it normal ??
don't find other post where people compare theorical value for cams and there own value (BD10,BD14 or other ...)

thanks for your help

You need adjustable cam pulleys so you can set it to 115 degrees.

You are correct, max lift is 115 degrees on the inlet and 110 degrees on the exhaust. If you have adjustable pullies, you shouldn`t have any trouble setting this up?

no

with pulley you can set up the max opening for a "certain" timing

my problem is that I found tha my cam have the max opening at 110 not 115

I look for the BTDC and ABDC to find my personnal value for the max opening with is 110

and not 115

this is not the same

I am lost mate. The peak lift point is set by YOU. You can set it to 105 or 125 if you want. ??

yes

this is what I say

but when you buy bd10 intlet
when you have 115 for max opening this mean :
- put the crankchaft to 115
- and use pulley to adjust camshaft so that it's the max opening

my question is for the 115

115 given for the bd10 is theorical

you can find this value doing you own mesurement
maximum opening for the intlet = (BTDC+ABDC+180)/2 - BTDC

doing this I find 110

I assume I can put 110 to crankshaft and adjust my cam for max opening

but is it normal to find 5° difference between the bd10 theorical value
and my value

I apologize, not easy for me to explain what I want to say (technical informations) in english

I hope stu you understand better know what I mean

perhaps I'm wrong ??

thanks
