I know that it is not valves, but in 2006 I bought stem seal and valveguides from them (cossieboyz).. workes fine, and the workshop that fixed my head couldt see any difference on them compared to much more expensive simular parts.

I dont know anything about guides, but I do not think it is a " in the shead" job, if you know what I mean.

A lot of people sell std pinto ones as cossie, but they are not and the sump gasket on the cossie is a critical thickness, where a pinto cork type one is used it can lead to oil starvation on the cossie as the oil pump pickup is then too close to the sump base.
To install guides is a piece of cake if you have the tools, the head is heated, and the guide is frozen then they are put in and the guide swells the head shrinks fit done, although some have fitted them in other ways.

I have sold MANY sets of these mainly exhaust valves, they are made by or for BGA. I have sold first sets about 3 years ago and no-one has complainted that they have failed.
But last set of ex valves were not up to my standarts, one valve didn't fit guide because end was too thick and 6 had some kind of softer metal on valve seats, maybe some material which was sprayed on them for protecting purposes?
I didn't get any good answer what the spots were and how do they affect the seal but I think they will melt away quicly and seats will leak.
I haven't sent the questions to the factory yet.
