Is the laguna splitter off any particular model or year?

PassionFord Post Whore!!
I had a Laguna splitter for years, was great as it would flex if it caught.
Now put a 500 splitter on but cringe every time it scrapes

10K+ Poster!!
Think I've seen laguna splitters more on other cars than actual lagunas. Seemed to be the only part of them worth having.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
With a lowered Saff or 3 door the original Ford rubber one makes more sense as its flexible and wont shatter.I also think they look good as well.

Just spent hours trying to repair a fibreglass one which is very similar that my Son has on his Subaru Impreza, his car is low and he caught it on a kerb. the fibreglass shattered and left hundreds of splits which fucked it up big time. Ended up binning it and getting a new one.

Nothing wrong with the original one.

cossie fan (unluckerly)
I changed my original one as when I first got my saff the rubber was folding under and coming away in the corners. Looked horrid so I got a brand new one from ford that started to do it as well. So I got a rouse one as I like them and there made for saffs

I am also of the opinion to keep the original one. Mine was a bit bent and scabby but I spent a couple hours nursing it back to shape with a hammer and wet flatted it with engine oil - looks like brand new!

Mine has shrunk a little, was than an issue with yours? Can then the stretched back into shape? Annoying as otherwise it's in good order.

No mine wasn't shrunk, it had just been hit at some time and bent upwards right on the corner, but I had the bumper off the car at the time and started one end and used rivets to fix it and just formed it to the shape of the bumper with a rubber mallet and a bit of patience.
Doing it off the car is much easier than on the car!
To be honest if its shrunk I would get a new one while you still can
