Default What oil should I use in a 50k engine?

Going to give the honk an oil change this week I think, I don't know what to run it in.

I'll be giving it pretty frequent oil changes from here on in, so I'm guessing it's best to run it on a Semi since it's an old lump and hasn't had the rebuild? (yet!)

Cheers

Where's the oil filter on the 4x4 please? Going to change it tomorrow, if the weathers okay!

Also the Motorcraft filter is the BIG filter they supplied me but the parts lad said he always get 2wd and 4wd filters confused

Is it the big one? Ta

2wd one is EFL 298(FORD), either can be used as same internally.
I would use a 15/50 such as SILKOLENE PRO S.
I have used CASTROL RS, used it quicker than petrol!!

Well that's in, don't think I've changed the oil on a car where it's been easier

Could only get Mobil 1 0-40 from Halfrauds up here so dunked that in. Engine seems clattery since I've put it in! Is that normal??

Left the engine under tray off for a bit to give it a good clean
