Default What plugs for stage 3

I was having running problems and was only firing on three cylinder so i though i would replace the plugs and see if it sorted the problem.. I tried to get a replacement set of Champion "Racing plugs" that were currently fitted but had no joy at any local motor factors so ended up with a standard set of NGK's for £10

Im running stage three with 18 PSI at the moment am i looking for trouble running the standard recommend plugs or should i upgrade to something better ASAP?

The car has a slight misfire now as i accelerate with the poo plugs fitted..

What plug gap do you run mate as i think you might need a 22 thou gap also the plugs you have might not have the temperature rating you need, best off ringing up a tuner

Thanks for that Gav, I going to drop the gap this morning. I set them to 30 thou as per the manual but i think your right, i will drop them down to 22.

Cheers

You need NGK 9s with a 0.65mm gap. Perfect running cold or hot.

Not myself as I have always run 9s on my stage 3. Better safe than sorry though. I used to use 902s up until the stage 3 conversion.
