Default Cosworth piston rings?

While building my engine today i snapped a brand new oil control ring .

Can you get these seperately or do you have to buy all 3 rings for a piston?

Does anyone know the price for one from a 0.5 mahle cosworth piston?

Cheers

Tried ford, they want Ł77+vat per piston! dont sell single rings.
woodford only sell full sets @ Ł99.

i have been told that cosworth only supply rings for cosworth racing pistons (not sure if this is true though)

a local machine shop MAY be able to get me a single piston set but they arent sure yet.

im waiting on Markk to get back to me, hopefully he has one spare which would be great.

Any more info appreciated incase it all falls through.

Cheers

cosworth sell rings separately, or at least they list them separately on their price list.

you want a PR1058 Oil Ring for 0.5 oversize pistons. Ł13.50 + VAT and P&P

call jeremy scott at cosworth on 01604 598653

well i rang cosworth.

that was a non starter, the woman said i could order the one ring i need.....but it would mean its less than their minimum order
which means i would have to pay an extra Ł25 on top of Ł13.50+vat!

any more suggestions anyone for a SINGLE OIL CONTROL RING 0.5 O/S?

Cheers

Moonstone Mart that's a bugger, didn't know about that.

why not see if anyone else on the board wants other parts from them, and then club together to make up the order value?

they are often the cheapest supplier for many of the yb engine parts, even though a lot of people don't think to try them and go to places like woodford etc first
