Default best rods to use???????/

building me motor on me 3 door got low comp pistons,lightened and balanced bottom end,no thinking of sum nice rods what do u sugest??thanx

Whats wrong with std ones? Depending on the power you're aiming for?

Standard roads are rated at something like 700 bhp,if thet are shot peened,deseamed,polished and balanced,try phoning turbosystems and asking his advise

going for 400bhp just thought why motor was in bits mite as well fit a nice set of rods?but i will leave standard 1s in and spend the money on sumthing else

Spend 200 quid mate get them balanced,shot peened,deseamed and polished with new small ends and will never have to touch them again

Ive just deseamed, polished and balanced and weight match my standard rods...they're all spot on apart from one being 1 gram lighter (shouldnt effect owt).....new little end bearings and a set of ARP bolts to finish them off. Gonna weight match me pistons next....its all free so may as well do it
