fuel rail welding???
hi all.. how can i fit an ally screw on fitting for braided fuel lines onto the original fuel rail?? i had an old rail what i threw away that looked as if the screw on fitting had been welded or braised.. can this be a diy job for me if so what do i need or off to a garage...? cheers

silver solder will crack, its too soft pal, you cannot weld an ally fitting to a steel rail.
the problem with the std rail is it has a small copper content that is used to seal the ends and the injector cups, this has to be removed before your STEEL fitting can be tigged on very nicely
