Some people suggest upgrading or replacing the original live feed to the fuel pump is a good idea as you increase the boost and fueling. Probably not a bad idea as most 2wd are almost 20 years old. Hope this is some use.

MSD Evolution chip in mine set up at MSD 21 psi peak,19 psi held
Think the work that has been done on my engine is flowing quite well
As said above, get the fueling checked by a decent tuner m8

Just put a new turbo and actuator on mine, not sure of my power yet but it used to peak 21psi held 19, made 262bhp atw on a.v.a`s rollers, now im 25/26 psi and holding it like a hard-on. with a bigger turbo and some more boost im hoping for 290 atw if it makes more i`ll be like a pig in shite

I have the car for about 2jrs, and no problems.
He's live-mapped with this setup. And he's perfect
I think it depends how you drive the car! (good warming up, good cooling down, good service, and not full throttle all the time!)
One thing is for sure, the turbo has to work hard! So you'll have to get a rebuild in about 5jrs (depends how many miles/kilometers you make)

hi all, i fitted all the bits on the cossie last nite and set it up to peak at 21 and hold 19 psi bearing in mind the roads were wet, it was spinning up in 1st ,2nd & 3rd... and thats on 18's with yokahama tyres...! after the virgin test drive roll on the track days and rollin road....

You should really get the car checked over by a pro, tinkering with boost setup on a cossie is a big no no, unless you can check fuelling, etc... properly.
Drive it gently and get it checked out if you don't want it to blow up on you
PS: Can't remember which, but some yokohama tyres are useless on cossies, might explain your constant wheelspin - or, the road were wet

PS: That's on a standard pump too, now dropped boost to 22peak, 20 held following a head gasked leak, and haven't brought it back up since.

But usually you've changed gear before it drops past 26psi so you don't notice anyway
