Strange, we used to run 28psi peak, 25ish held with a T34 and greens. Have you checked your fuel pump ?
PS: That's on a standard pump too, now dropped boost to 22peak, 20 held following a head gasked leak, and haven't brought it back up since.
No, i have not checked the wiring to the pump.
The pump was new when i built up the car.

Hiya, the car holds 18psi upto 5000revs, drops to 26psi to 6000revs and then drops to 22psi very slowly for the limiter, and this way you can still get the perfect AFR out of the injectors
But usually you've changed gear before it drops past 26psi so you don't notice anyway
