Default Acuator question?

Should there be a pipe from the acuator to the amal valve? Only asking because engine advantages rolling roaded it and left it off and most of my mates are saying that there should be a pipe there to stop it over boosting..

no bleed valve.. She's 329bhp with green injectors, 3bar, -31 acuator, chip, t34, 4x4 intercooler, been told rs500 cooler will make it bout 350bhp..

There the experts so I let them get on with it..

what form of boost control does it have then??

i'm no expert, but my understanding is the boost pressure from the compressor housing runs through the C port of the amal valve, and is bled off through the R port until full boost is reached, when it then goes through the W port and forces the actuator rod to open the wastegate,

so i don't see how your wastegate is controlled

of course i wait for a more skilled reply to help you

I was always under the impression, that if you take the pipe off the actuator, you get unlimited boost until something goes very horribly wrong, so it must have some other type of boost control
