Do these get rid of the baggy feel to the standard box?ive just bought a series 2 and having come from a 2dr impreza type r with a seriously tight box lol....its hard to get used to have went from 2nd to 5th a few times

 

yes mate they do its proberley one of the best things you can do....

there are a few options you can use one of these or you can modd your one or some people modd the puma linkage to fit

 

Thanks rsmark86 is there anywhere i can find out more, my brother mentioned a site ywk parts does some sort of minor mod that can tighten the box up a bit?

 

its either one of these, a rally design kit to tighten up the std item or fit a puma selector. you jave to redrill the holes to fit it to the floor, but the rest bolts up ok.

i have a B&m and although expensive they make a huge difference.

 

are these b&m much of a job to fit?

 

na, same as fitting a std linkage.

 

get yourself on www.seriesoneturbo.co.uk there is a thread in the how to section (you will have to search for it lol) but its got a web site that sells a kit for £25 and it makes a massive difference and has full instructions and pictures to go by but you will have to be able to use a welder....

im going to do it along with a b&m lever and some rubbers between the b&m and the floor as its the best you can do.... and it also turns out the gearbox i was sold (as a cts box ) after inspection is a ib5 with uprated main bearing , shootpeened gear set and quaife atb so i should have a realy good set up now
