my b&m quickshift causes alot of vibration through the tape holder when the car revs over 3k, ive tightend up all the quickshift bolts and remounted the tape holder brackets with nuts and bolts and tighten up all the screws which hold the tape holder in place and it still vibrates
anyone else had this? also does the erst b&m quickshift come with a gasket to go between the underneath of the floor pan and the quickshift as i bought mine secondhand and dont know if its supossed to have one

i put a few rubber o rings between the quickshift and the floor when i fitted mine.
dont know if its made much difference as i haven't driven it yet!
oh and they dont come with a gasket i just used the standard paperfomay thing that came off the car.
Those rubber spacers are gonna make the gearstick sit a bit lower in the car if you do it like that in the picture above.

you should NOT use any gasket or o rings. buy adding rubbe,r your removing the whole piont off the quick shift,
yours will bed in a little, mine vibrated really bad to start with,
christian also recomended that i silocon the two trim pieces around it together, give that a go
but NO o ringfs lol

The pivot of the quickshift will not be altered if you add any bushes like those pictured, unless you put them between the top and bottom parts of the actual unit itself before bolting it all together
They dont come with anything and imo dont need anything, but its safe to put some o rings or washers on if you want to remove any harshness experienced from running direct metal to metal.

mine is having a shit load of insulation done when i get round to it. As tony says, it wont alter the pivot at all. I can't stand any vibration through gear lever.
