Block - acid dipped and 0.5 overbore. (The engine was still running fine when I took it apart so it's not as if a previous failure caused the rebuild.)

90k miles on it when it came apart

Cosworth forged racing pistons (7.5cr IIRC but worth double checking by measuring). 0.5 overbore.

Farndon Steel rods - standard 1.6CVH length.

Vandervall bearings

not a direct fit, i had some on my old escort, 8mm thick brackets see them fit, stainless pistons i believe

bottom end has been run in, it was paul eggletons engine, he sold the head to daz C on here and done 154mph on standard management, the omex is from christan and beccys car aswell

the head was a power engineering head that had a 285t2 cam,,,, i changed it to a cvh36, brand new one and rebuilt the head as i wanted to get close to 300bhp as poss,,,, then decided i needed a family car and bought a cossie pmsl

its a PUKKA engine,, at a grand im almost tempted as i paied more than that for the bottom end alone !!!
